"Heather was great to work with, very quick to respond to all of our questions. The house is very large and will easily accommodate 9 or 10 guests, spread over three levels. Kitchen is well stocked and overall the house is very comfortable. Had a nice selection of games and movies. Not a lot of visual privacy from neighbors in winter, but that might be better in the summer months. Couple of things to note. First, don't plan on doing a lot of walking around the neighborhood. Lots of "private do not enter" signs, including a couple directed specifically at VRBO guests. Second, the primary way into the house is through the lower level door, then up a 20-some step staircase that has VERY shallow treads. Not a lot of fun while carrying luggage. The alternate entrance is up a significant outside slope, then several stairs to the deck and a door that opens right on the dining table. All fine until you're carrying luggage...or a heavy cooler... Overall our stay was lovely, with an awesome view of the river below and a toasty woodstove! We will definitely return if we get back to this area."

"The property, set back from the main roads and on a beautiful stretch of river, is spectacular. The elevated view provides a wide view of the river at it winds along the property. The woods on both sides provided for nice hikes and more opportunities to take in the river. The cabin itself was perfect. Quaint but not small. We enjoyed time around the fire, dinner table, and kitchen island. The separate bunk room was an added bonus and perfect for kids, parents, or both!Really appreciate how thought-out everything was--from the booking to check-in process, to the amenities in the cabin itself. Felt like I had been there a dozen times!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. There was lots of room for all 12 of us. The large downstairs bedroom with the TV and lots of floor space was great for the older kids and the sunroom area was perfect for the little ones. The air hockey was a hit and we even had a tournament. The kitchen was nicely stocked with lots of cooking and baking pans and serving bowls. There was plenty of table service, cups and glasses for all of us. The communication with the property owner was very timely. I would recommend this home to anyone."
