This four-bedroom, 4.5-bath retreat, nestled in the Maritime Forest of Bald Head’s sought-after Cape Fear Station, is ideally located just minutes from the beach, the Conservancy, Cape Fear Commons and the Shoals Club.

Down a quiet, wooded lane, this property charms with curb appeal from its white picket fence to its arbored drive and double porch façade. When you step up onto the first level's covered porch, you’ll want to linger and rock as you enjoy the ocean’s serenade and delightful birdsong. Inside this reverse floor plan, the foyer welcomes with warm heart-of-pine floors and elegant wainscoting. To the right is a nautically-themed suite furnished with a Full and a Twin. Behind its pocket door is a full bath ensuite with a tub/shower. Down the hall, a bright Queen suite is appointed with a four poster bed and mirrored armoire. It also has its own private bath. At the end of the hall, another Queen suite, with two closets and its own full bath, accesses a peaceful back screened porch. This is the perfect spot for morning coffee wildlife watching or a salty-breeze afternoon nap. This floor also houses the laundry, a hall entrance to the screened porch and egress to the home’s garage, where two golf carts (a six- and a four-passenger) are stored for guests’ use.

Upstairs, the open floor plan’s vaulted ceiling makes the most of all the sunshine coming in from four sides of windows. The spacious living area is anchored by a decorative fireplace and provides entry to both the back screened dining porch and the house-length covered front porch. The nearby granite beverage station is conveniently located for relaxing refreshments inside or out. The adjacent dining space offers a table for eight with treetop views. Dine here or at the neighboring breakfast bar. The chef’s kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances, a double sink and plenty of storage cabinets. Close by is a half bath. Don’t miss the King Owner’s Suite also tucked onto this floor. Plan to be indulged with a spa-like bath, large closet and private screened-porch access. Once on that screened porch, it’s just a short climb up the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck and its magnificent views. Great location
House was clean and exceeded our expectations by far! So much more than in the description! Fully stocked kitchen with spices and more! Beach toys, boogie boards, and a 6 seater golf cart plus a 4 seater to fit the whole family! Great covered porches and close to the beach and shoals club!
