"The service was excellent, some pieces of furniture in our room should have been replaced given their condition, but the property overall was great. The food in the restaurants was good, but somewhat overpriced."

"I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat. We went for our baby moon and unfortunately I ended up with an upset stomach from some food outside the hotel. I’m 7 months pregnant so they sent a doctor, arranged for me to be seen by a hospital and then later arranged a private scan for me to check the baby. During this time, they also sent broths to the room, kept us constantly stocked up on water and nearly every member of staff we encountered asked how I was feeling every day. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during what could have been a really difficult time (being away and ill pregnant is pretty tough). They even left flowers in our room and a get well card. Not just this though, the service was simply impeccable. I’m vegan and my husband is vegetarian. I also have a suffer dairy allergy. Everyone was aware. Every morning I was offered a wonderful new option for breakfast- vegan pancakes, crepes, tofu scramble. And they would adjust anything needed or get the chef to create something. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I cannot rave about this place enough. It has set the standard and I fear no where else will ever match up. We will definitely be going back. Also, a special thank you to Natacha who (along with the other staff) made this the best experience even during sickness! "

"My stay at LUX* Grand Gaube has truly exceeded all expectations. The staff are exceptional, especially the team on the beach who go above and beyond to make your experience special. It’s the thoughtful details—like cool boxes placed by your sunbed and having it set up for you—that really make a difference. The food has been outstanding across the board, from the à la carte restaurants to the buffet, which offers so much more than a typical buffet experience. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed the variety of water sports available. A fantastic holiday all around!"

"Absolutely loved our time in Mauritius, and particularly our time at the Westin Turtle Bay Resort. The resort itself is absolutely amazing, spacious and boasts most amenities one may require, including a full gym and spa, two beautiful massive pools (one for families, other for adults only), five different restaurants with a great variety of foods, extensive coastline (be mindful of sea urchins - although the sea life among the corals once inside the sea is breath taking!) and a boat house offering most water sports, including diving! Only thing missing was a small shopping centre nearby as getting any shopping involves a spot of travel. Additionally, the staff made our stay the most memorable holiday we have had to date. The food and beverage crew, from management through their amazing chefs including Rudy and Akash, to the waiting staff, particularly Seam, Roshan and Raja ensure each and every request we had was accommodated promptly, and in superb fashion. The pool side team, lead by Jerome and Steeven, including Noah, Nass and Dylan made sure we had absolutely the most incredible holiday! We cannot wait to be back there, and we've only just got home 💜~💜~"
