Cosy, welcoming, very comfortable house in the Peak District
We enjoyed all the comfort of a warm and welcoming home away from home with our dog. Cooked easy meals in a very well kitted out kitchen. Found the beds very comfortable, the photos and art very interesting and the rugs very cosy! Location is great though our car was essential of course! Lindsay was available if we had any questions and the Welcome hamper very generous! Very safe enclosed garden area for our cockapoo. beds really comfortable

Enjoyable
My best friend and I really liked the cottage and the garden area was beautiful. The property was spotlessly clean and the host had left a generous welcome pack. There were very explicit instructions regarding the placing of linen and towels at on our departure as well as being asked to sweep the floor. A lovely short break.

Fabulous
Such a great stay! We loved the cottage from the moment we arrived - and the welcome was as warm and friendly. Lindsay is an expert at this and there was nothing that could have been improved upon. So many pantry items and treats! The cottage is beautifully equipped and accessorized - we love the sheep theme that carries through all rooms, with carefully selected and amusingly tasteful touches. A comprehensively equipped kitchen makes cooking and eating at home a pleasure. The outdoor space - patio and garden - are a delight too. We spent a lot of time just sitting and relaxing - and enjoying the views. Loved the gas stove in the living room too. The location is perfect - this immaculately groomed little hamlet which offers very easy access to all the major places of interest in the Peak District. We could not have chosen better! Thank you, Lindsay, for everything - especially the pleasure of meeting you. Paul & Martin - Vancouver Island, Canada.

A great festive break
We had a very restful and enjoyable break in the Peak District in this lovely cottage in the village of Over Haddon. The cottage itself is very comfortable and stylish, beautifully decorated and well equipped, perfect for self catering. Comfy beds and sofas provide for a very relaxing stay. It was particularly lovely to have it decorated for Christmas which gave the whole stay a very festive feel. Thank you, Lindsay! I hope to stay here again at some point.

Peak District Dream Location
We had the most amazing time at Lower Folds, it was so easy to communicate with Lindsey and the check in process was so smooth. When we got there, just WOW! The place was spotless and Lindsay had clearly put lovely finishing touches around the place to make it homely! In terms of location we couldn't have asked for better, close enough that we could walk into Bakewell along through peaceful fields(~45mins), and easy to jump in the car to explore what else the peak District had to offer! We can't wait to come back and stay at lower Folds! X

Fabulous property in the perfect position to explore the Peak District.
This is our third holiday in the Peak District. The property was literally a home from home. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. It had everything it needed for a perfect holiday. Lindsey was an excellent host and couldn’t have done more to make our stay faultless. We would recommend this property to anyone who wanted a family holiday particularly if they have a four legged friend to accompany them.
