Enjoy plenty of opportunities to get outdoors during your stay at this vacation home! Large windows invite natural light and woodland views into the living room. Bask in the glow of the wood-burning fireplace while you watch favorite TV shows. The chef in your group will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen that features everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. Nibble on appetizers at the four-person kitchen bar, then gather at the six-person dining table. Practice your musical skills after dinner on the piano. This retreat has two loft areas, both are located on opposite sides of the home. The first loft has a comfortable bed with a primary bedroom, while the second loft offers another bed and it's accessed by a ladder.

Situated just a short stroll from the beach, this retreat offers space to unwind outdoors at home, too. Step outside to the spacious stone patio to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy alfresco living. A private balcony boasts a scenic overlook amid the trees.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Cute,Quaint home
Adorable home in a great area of Bainbridge. The home is well equipped for a stay. The yard and surroundings are perfect. The home could use a deep cleaning but otherwise is clean enough.

Charming and unique home
This home is exquisitely designed. Every angle is beautiful. We walked to the beach and discovered lots of sea life, and enjoyed relaxing in the cabin. The town of Bainbridge and its waterfront are also a treasure trove of delights. We’ll be back.

Great stay
Got the home for myself and employees while working nearby. House was exactly as described. Great value, clean, good location. Oven doesn’t work but that was the only thing and we didn’t care. Would definitely stay again.

Anniversary on Bainbridge
Nice quiet place a couple miles from downtown, with beach access a short walk away. Lots of room, well equipped kitchen except the oven didn’t work. There was a toaster oven/air fryer so wasn’t a problem for us.

We really enjoyed the location of this home- it has a secluded feel, but amenities and shopping are a short drive away. The overall feeling of the home is that it was probably once very loved and cared for, but some improvements could be made to help make it more enjoyable and comfortable for guests. I addressed those in the privately shared section with the rental company and owner in detail, most of it from an aesthetic point of view, but there are some cleanliness and wear and tear issues that could be fairly easily addressed and make the stay even more enjoyable. We found shore access a short walk away, but please note it is only a 40’ strip to the water and back. Guests are not encouraged to walk behind the homes- the beach is privately owned. We found plenty to do on the island during our stay from shopping, walking, visited Pia the Peacemaker, played some pickleball and enjoyed the park. The fish and chips at Harbour Public House were really good. We had walked along the harbor and up the “secret path” as we called it, and ate on the patio. We look forward to returning some day and enjoying the slower pace on the island. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Clean quiet getaway
Great place to stay in Bainbridge. We loved the bright open floorplan, jacuzzi and the quiet property. The wood fireplace worked great and added to the coziness. The only downsides where we would've liked improvements are the lack of curtains for the giant windows in the upstairs/master bedroom, the leaky showerhead that sprays everywhere, and the beds were kind of on the hard/firm side after a while. It'd also be nice if they left a floor fan somewhere for white noise and air circulation at night.

Cute Cabin
Wonderful, cute cabin. Very clean and lovely, tranquil setting. I saw mentions in previous reviews that the upstairs shower didn’t work. It does. You pull the handle straight out instead of just turning. Turn to adjust the temp. The temperature adjustment is very sensitive. Maybe a note in the bathroom with brief instructions would help? Overall a great place.

I was very nice and peaceful neighbors were very nice and no problem with any of them was really quiet community and I feel great. Of course while we were there we found out something wasn't working we landlords no and obviously they right 08 called in someone to come fix the problem. I had no problem with that.

Just a few observations
These things always missing when we stay at Vacasa properties - no sharp knives, no coffee, no way to heat water for tea, it seems most pots, pans, and utensils are a mismatch collection from the second hand store. Therefore, Cooking in your kitchens is mindlessly frustrating even when you claim it is furnished. I will avoid your properties in the future for these reasons Jon A

The house was not clean. I needed to clean kitchen before use, wash throw blankets that were dirty, dead bugs in bath, dirty sheets noted after use. The house is stocked with a mishmash of old furniture, smattering of utensils. Only 2 burners on stove, has a stand alone oven without pans etc. The rugs are dirty and stained, the walls are dirty. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

poetic but lacking
The house is located in a heavily wooded, quiet and moody surrounding, with only a short walk to the the waters of Fletcher Bay. The place inspires reflection on the passage of time, as the house's architecture and layout are harking back to the 1970s or early 1980s; the interior, though, is updated and very comfortable. The aged and somewhat neglected landscape and the dilapidated buildings in the back of the house add to the atmosphere. What the place affords in poetics, it lacks in the practical: a tea pot, a box of kleenex, and a flashlight would clearly add comfort to our stay. The welcome booklet says a flashlight can be found in the laundry room, but there was none. Still, these minor omissions did not spoil our enjoyment of the place.

Cozy, quiet home
This is a warm, cozy home on a quiet street, walking distance to a public road end that allows waterfront access. Lots of warm wood accents, and big windows to let the forest-y views in, it feels a lot like a ski cabin. We live locally, and stayed here while our floors were being refinished. The house is close to our favorite local Thai restaurant (Sawatdy Thai!). It's on the #106 bus route, and you could get here by bus from the ferry and to and from town at times, but Bainbridge bus service is tied to ferry service, and buses run mainly at commute times, so you will likely need a car to enjoy being here. The kitchen was well-equipped, probably the best of any vacation rental we've ever stayed. All the sleeping areas are very open (MBR is lofted above the kitchen/living area), which might be a factor for some but we didn't mind. Good closet space in the main bedroom. Cell service in this part of the island can be spotty, but the wifi here was strong so we never had problems. This is a lovely place, and if I knew friends were coming to town, I would recommend it.

Poorly maintained home
We arrived at 6:00 PM to find that the code they gave us for the electronic door entry would not work. After calling Vacasa we got a new code that did work UNTIL the following night at 8:00 PM at which time it did not work. Called and got another code. House is in ill repair. There is a pet door off of the upstairs bathroom that has a door that is broken and won't stay on-racoons etc. can easily enter the home. Carpet dirty, cellular blinds so dirty they look like a dirty yellow. Toast crumbs on the window sill behind the toaster, spider webs above the bed upstairs, and a shower door that has an inch gap at the bottom thus an orange and wet stain on the rug. A ceiling light upstairs that has just wires showing. TV only has local programming. This could be a nice rental with deep cleaning and lots of maintenance. Book for guests needs to be updated-talked about a key in a lock box. Finally having to enter a code every time you enter is very inconvenient especially when it takes 4 or 5 tries to get the door code to work. Very disappointed.
