The perfect seaside retreat, The Bailey Island Condo is conveniently located on Bailey Island overlooking scenic Mackerel Cove, just a short walk away from public beaches, local stores, seafood restaurants, and all the beautiful sights and walking trails Harpswell has to offer including the historic Cribstone Bridge, the Giant Stairs, and Land's End. You'll love the stunning views from your deck, easy water access via the public beach and field at the head of the cove, and the ability to buy lobsters right off the wharf for the perfect Maine meal on your vacation!

Inside, you will find an open concept living, kitchen, and dining area with a fully stocked kitchen, flat-screen TV, and electric heat for chilly nights. Upstairs, you'll find a full bathroom and ocean view bedroom with stunning views of the cove and a sliding door opening to a balcony, the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea as you watch the sun rise over the peninsula.

Come to Bailey Island this summer and fall (to see the gorgeous foliage) and enjoy this wonderful condo right in the heart of the island and close to all this seaside community has to offer! Spend all day basking in the sun, go for a swim in the cove,  launch your boat or kayak in the cove from the beach and explore the coast, take a walk to the local stores and restaurants, or take a drive to explore the surrounding coastal areas (Brunswick (15 min), Freeport (30 min), Portland (1hr), or Boothbay (1hr)) offering a variety of restaurants, stores, and activities. The opportunities for adventure are endless and I'm sure this comfortable condo will keep you coming back year after year!

Wonderful relaxing stay
The Bailey Island condo was exactly as pictured on line, but areas that weren’t shown were impressive as well. The Condo was absolutely spotless, comfy bed, and had everything needed. Everything was organized and uncluttered so there was plenty of room for our stuff. The view was fantastic. We spent every morning and evening on the deck watching the lobstermen do what they do ☺️. Glens lobster was a short walk down the road, they pulled the lobsters from the water when u buy them. I would give the condo and the area more than 5 stars. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Great place. Clean as a whistle. Fabulous view. I wish the no smoking policy included the decks since we had to close our window and door when neighbor smoked. Kitchen had everything we needed but the knives need a sharpening. 😁

Lovely, clean, perfect stay on Bailey Island!
This condo was exactly as advertised: beautiful water views, fully appointed, sparkling clean in a gorgeous fishing village. The hosts were super helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Highlights were hiking Giant’s Stairs, the view at Dolphin Marina, scones at Salt Cod Cafe. We wish we’d done the lobster boat tour! Great day trips to Boothbay Arboretum, Freeport, Brunswick, and Bath. Evenings on the deck were the best way to end the day!

A nice condo right in Mackerel Cove. Wake each morning to the lobster bots heading out. A well appointed condo, great for one or two people. Terrific communication from the management team. I would highly recommend.

Our unit was very clean and the view was amazing. Everything was nice except we had no heat and customer service is lacking. We tried for three weeks before our trip to get in touch with customer service about our credit card and never got a call back or any response. While visiting we contacted the owners and never received a text back. Other than lack of customer service this place is amazing.

A Charming Accommodation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a comfortable and attractive condo for one or two people. It is relatively new so all furnishings etc are it great condition. I stayed alone and really used it more as a hotel room than a cottage so can’t really comment much regarding the cooking facilities.. The view is lovely and mostly very quiet. I loved hearing the fishing boats coming and going and coffee on the balcony in the early morning was one of my favourite experiences at the condo. It is located in a favourite part of the area but is over an hour to my favourite beaches, Popham and Reid State Park. Despite that I would book the condo again and I would definitely prefer staying at the condo to staying at a hotel.
