"Dinner was great and people that worked in the restaurant were very helpful. Check in was fast and easy. The slide at the pool left me with painful bruises. We had booked horseback riding through the providerer recommended by the hotel. We received no confirmation email and no instructions of where to go. We went to the provider's stables which were 45 minutes away. Then, we find out we were supposed to go to the hotel and the riding will have to go on without us. Then we got a call...

"Hadde et greit opphold. Hotellet bærer preg av dårlig vedlikehold og mangler litt på modernisering. Vegger og tak er betongkonstruksjon, men det er likevel lytt inn til naborom og opp til et bråkete aktivitetsrom. Sengene bar også preg av alderen, med knakende tresenger og madrass fra 80-tallet. Rengjøringen var ok, men håndklær ble ikke byttet til dag 2. Valdres Høyfjellshotell ligger i nydelige omgivelser, men veiene inn dit er forferdelige. Vi ble tatt imot av en hyggelig betjening....

"This place is really wonderful. Our stay was filled with relaxation and comfort. The hosts were so lovely and nice, and quite sporty as well. The entire place is bigger than it seemed from the photos, and the location in the mountains is very serene. It's a short drive to Dokka, which we found to be a lovely place as well, with a really nice community feeling. We had an amazing stay, and I highly recommend it. "

"Where to start. The door to our room couldn’t be opened so we sought assistance. It turned out the door was jammed due to not fitting the surround. The lock was nearly impossible to open/ close. The chairs were unbearable. The shower was lukewarm while basin water was very hot. No blackout curtains. No fridge. And it was expensive!!"

"The house is very complete and Nice, surrounding area is very nice . biggest issue is : no space to put luggage and storesputting 11 beds in a house do not meen that you can live there comfy whit 8 persons this house is compleet full.we lived in the house with 7 adults and 2 teenagers and struggled with space/storage issues from te beginning to the end. Winter holiday in Norway was an unbelievable nice experience , only minus was lack of space . "

"It was a pleasure to be guests in this heartwarmung furnished cabin. We found there everything we needed for our Christmas time trip to Norway. The kitchen was surprisingly fantastic equipped. Everything was well organised and prepared for our stay. Sauna and fire places ready to use. Slopes for ski cross country 100 m away and well prepared in the morning. It’s a wonderful silent place to have some time off. A real secret escape. Please be aware, that you need in winter time snow tyres to enter...
