Great hotel, central location, avoid standard room
I stayed for 6 nights with a friend, first time in Goa for both of us.
Location - if in Baga, the hotel is as central as its get. You are right in the midst of everything in Baga.
Service - very friendly, they try to accommodate you as best as they can. But this is India, don't expect them to be knowledgeable, for example, about what do to around...
WiFi - only worked in the lobby, about 2 days out of 6, don't count on it!
Breakfast - has a some choice of Western and Indian dishes. On the Western side, some choice but pretty basic. You can find what to eat, but it's not a treat you'll enjoy.
Rooms - I had 2 different experiences. Originally I booked a standard room (block A) and in Western standards it was sub-standard. Clean, but small, no window, only the front door was made out of glass which means no privacy if curtain pulled, bathroom didn't have even place to leave a toothbrush. We requested a better room which was available after 2 nights for 500 rupees (after negotiation, less than $10) and we got a much, much better room in block C. This room was much larger, had a sitting area with sofa, balcony, was much larger including a decent bathroom. This room was great (pool view is more expensive but not worth it).
Overall, for Baga it's a very good hotel, with friendly service and a top location.
