"We ran out of toilet paper, called the number and they sent me to a storage where there was no toilet paper. I asked for a solution and was told that there is nothing to do. This is unacceptable. There are many solutions. I asked if they could open a vacant room for me to take toilet paper from there. They said no. Few days later I discovered that the toilet paper was in laundry room and they sent me to the wrong place. You must fix it. If you are a self service you must have a solution for toilet paper refill and know where guest can take it from. Another thing is that you never sent us the code for the garage. Good that we called in advance and asked ourselves. The person didn't know to say if the garage is connected to the hotel but at least gave us the code. Good thing we did it because you never sent it, and when we called on arrival since things didn't work for us initially, no one have answered the phone. Otherwise everything was great."

"We visited Halstatt over the Christmas holiday and fell in love with this gem of a town. While it is a bit overrun with tourists at this time of year, Halstatt Hideaway is set above the hustle and bustle and always offered a quiet escape. We stayed in the green suite and had beautiful views of the lake and town from our windows. Breakfast provided by the staff was a treat each morning. If you're planning on visiting during Christmas, beware that a lot of shops and restaurants are closed, so you'll need to plan ahead. Put Halstatt and Halstatt Hideaway on your bucket list...it's the type of town you can't get lost in and beauty lies down every tiny street and around every corner."

"Nice facility, clean and modern. Parking was difficult when we got in late and all the spaces were take. Food was average quality. Dinner not great, breakfast was ok. "

Great value for the price, room is spacious for solo backpackers, nice mountain view Toilet is clean, bed sheets and blanket are clean but a bit old Breakfast is fine for early birds, Super convenient with both train station and bus stops around, had a really nice time."

"The hotel is advertised as having AC, this was a key element in my decision to book this hotel. Apparently they turn it off when it gets cold, according to them and other guests should just open the windows. We were promised that the hotel manager would contact us as we complained about it. That was on Saturday and we checked out on Monday. I have yet to hear back from her or anyone in the property. The receptionist offered us another room where they opened the windows. How did i not think of that? I asked to get at least a fan but i'm only a paying customer, why should i get a response? The hotel images, suggest that it is somewhat secluded. This is not the case as i was woken up by trains passing nearby (100-200m) at 7am. We had to sleep with open windows... Not my ideal vacation. The only bright side in this hotel was the F&B staff who were super friendly and helpful."
