When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying closed until the 1 March at 5.30pm. The whole place was shut up and chairs were on the tables inside the pub. "We booked to stay at Haus Saarland am Rennsteig. On arriving at the hotel we found it was closed and a notice telling us to go to another hotel, Hotel Thuringenschanze which was about 0.5km away.
