"The hotel is in a great location, and it's easy to walk around for cute shops and cafes. The restaurant at the hotel was very good for breakfast and dinner, and the staff were amazing!"

"(1) Although the reception was hardly ever maned, I only needed to press the call button and speak to the owner who was willing and able to help me with internet access and let me into the boot room when I forgot my room key. (2) The shower was piping hot with lots of hot water, nice after a hard day’s skiing however be careful, particularly with small children that you don’t get scalded. "

"This is a very nice hotel with lots of charm and character. We enjoyed the large room and great staff. We had half board included. The dinners were great, but the breakfast was dissapointing. Same limited items daily. The rooms are dated, but comfortable. Our shower however was very small. But that didn't bother us at all. The hotel pool and spa are nice, and the location to walk to shops and restaurants is convenient. For skiers, the ski bus stops very close to the hotel."

"Dette er et fint spahotell med kort vei til sentrum i Bad Hofgastein og til turstier i nærliggende åser og fjell. Hotellet har et lite basseng, boblebad, sauna, dampbad mm. Vi var der i fire netter, og hadde bassenget nesten for oss selv hele tiden. Meget stille og rolig sted, god service og deilige drinker i baren. Jeg kan anbefale Gin Fizz :) Vi hadde ikke fullpensjon, men frokostbuffeten var god. Hotell Astoria anbefales absolutt dersom man ønsker et rolig og fint hotell med spamulighet og...

"Brilliant in all aspects. Lovely staff and fantastic service and awesome food. Spa is amazing and the outdoors therme pool is wonderful and warm. Highly recommend this awesome hotel and its amazing staff and spa. The only tiny tiny tiny two things are that afternoon tea finished at 430 pm so we missed it every day as many skiers would. Secondly you get an allocated table for each meal for each day. It never changes which can become stale. However the staff were amazing and let us shift around...
