"My experience at their restaurant was so bad that I am considering calling the German authorities to check their kitchen. My dinner was a disaster, twice did the burger come in raw, and when I found hair in my salad I got enough. No understanding from the staff. Since you are dependent on eating here since no other restaurants in the area I can’t recommend this hotel to anybody"

"We were so pleased and overwhelmed with the way this hotel trip went. It is located within a mountain village and the pleasant chime of church bells between 7am to 12pm add an atmosphere of serenity. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and answered all my questions, knew the local places to visit, assisted in any problems and knew the history of the place. "Looking at the beautiful photos and description on hotels.Com encouraged us to take a detour to the hotel. Unfortunately it does not have the following. A operating restaurant, housekeeping, spa and sauna, ambience and warmth, qualified and efficient staff of any sort. This hotel is so bad that it should not be open. From the dead flies on the floor to some else toiletries in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned. Originally built as an old people's home it retains that theme so if you are...

Very clean, cozy, and convenient Hotel, walking distance to shops and restaurants etc. Fantastic breakfast that gets served in the cozy, traditional Black Forest "Jaeger Stube". Location is central but very safe and quiet. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this Hotel again. "

"This was our first stop on a trip all around Germany and was the perfect place to stay as we explored the Black Forest region. Thomas, our host, was very helpful in answering questions as we prepared for our trip even before arrival. The home was beautiful, clean and the perfect size for us.
