"Great location, easy to find using SatNav, and attentive staff. The room was decent with a powerful shower and tea/coffee making, comfy bed, decent space with desk & chair. Whilst the carpets on the staircases seem a bit dated, otherwise it was a splendid stay with a cracking good breakfast! And love the peacocks strutting around the grounds!"

"The hotel is in a great location for easy access to Windermere. The pool was a short drive away, and as we were there for only a couple of nights we didn't get to use it. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Would be very happy to stay there again on our next visit to Windermere. "

"excellent hosts very welcoming and knowledgeable which enhanced our stay. we stayed in room 8 which was lovely only thing for us was the low and slanted ceilings maybe should be in room description and small shower room. we would probably have picked another room to book, however this will not put us off booking again would highly recommend. nice little walk into windermere and not to far to walk down to bowness so a great location. breakfast was lovely, not usually a fan of pre ordering but we...
