"Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

"Very clean and safe hotel. Spacious room. Excellent shower. Booked as a solo traveller and for some reason received a (small/narrow) single person duvet on a double bed. Made sleeping very uncomfortable and cold. Hotel a la carte restaurant was closed, only a buffet available.... Was very poor quality food and also not cheap. "

We did not purchase the breakfast, but there are a couple of bakeries a short walk away; one with indoor seating. "Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."

"Check in was efficient. Room had Lovely view of Barfusskirche and weather that allowed for open windows. Easy walking distance from Bahnhof (even with heavy suitcase), and the delightful Kraemerbrueke. Somewhat loud on the street at night but not too bad. Room was very clean. Breakfast room was sunny and well staffed with bread, eggs (boiled or scrambled), all kinds of cheese and meats, jams, honey, and several types of tea. Standard coffee machine that produces standard coffee. "
