"Fun stay " up north" in an historic one room log cabin. The cabin is small - I can't imagine 4 people there. Queen bed and two twins (that double as couches) were comfortable with lots of pillows. 2 recliners and a table with 4 chairs. Kitchen and bath are well stocked. The cabin is full of cool antiques and an eclectic lot of paintings and prints - definitely maximulist in decor. Jeff was a good host. I would have liked written check-in and check-out instructions but it all worked out. The cabin is easy to find, but I would suggest arriving in the daylight. We tried to park at the boathouse! Like many MN lake cabins, you have close neighbors. It is not remote. You park right outside the cabin. We did not use the offered boat, canoe and outside firepit but they looked in good condition. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Nice place, clean and quiet. If your going to atv though the access isnt quite set up for a 1 ton diesel truck and an enclosed atv trailer. We did see a bull moose on the trip which was our goal way in the backcountry."

"Property was as advertised. First class accommodations. Fully stocked, modern kitchen, plenty of room for us and our friends. Property was very clean with plenty of parking for 4 trucks with 4 bass boats. Looking forward to our next trip to Tower."

"We were able to spend a long weekend at John and Amber’s place with extended family. The home layout was perfect to split our two families in having our own sides of the house, alongside the open shared spaces. The house was stocked with everything we needed for the stay and the open yard allowed for space to run and play. Communication with John was easy before and throughout the stay."
