"Wir waren mit unserem 10-jährigen Sohn zum ersten mal in den Niederlanden (Juni 2015). Die Nähe zum Strand war wunderbar. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und bot uns dreien viel Platz. Sie war schön eingerichtet und wir haben nichts vermisst. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Eine Info, wo die Waschmaschine zu finden ist und wie der Müll zu entsorgen ist, wäre hilfreich gewesen. Darüber haben wir auch keine Infos in der Wohnung gefunden."

"Durch einen Schlüsselsafe ist der Check-In Vorgang kinderleicht. Hat man dann die Türe geöffnet, betritt man eine kleine, sehr zweckmäßige aber dennoch gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit allem was man braucht. Wir finden der schmale Grad zwischen "gemütlich" und "kitschig überfüllt" wurde hier genau getroffen. Auch wenn die Wohnung auf der Hofseite liegt und der Blick aus dem Fenster nach "hinten" raus geht, hat man von dem Sofa dennoch einen herrlichen Blick auf die Dünen...

"My teenage daughter and I loved our stay here. We enjoyed escaping to the quaintness and relative quietness of north Amsterdam and this clean, cozy, apartment after busy days exploring Amsterdam and other nearby towns. It was easy to get to Centraal station via a short walk (15 min) and one stop on metro. The owners were kind and quick to respond and answer questions. I would highly recommend!"

Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."
