"We stayed here three nights 26-29th Jan so right in the Tet holiday. The hotel is hidden away on the outskirts of Tam Coc and is totally tranquil; surrounded by nature. We had the Lua room with small balcony. The room was huge and the bathroom well appointed with a great bathtub and shower. The bed was enormous and super comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and enjoyed the food. It is a little fusion take on traditional Vietnamese style dishes from the area. They also have a little bar area where you can chill and the cocktails are very reasonably priced. We didn't try the pool as it was quite chilly whilst we visited but it looked great. Breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of Local as well as western style food to cater for everyone. The staff here are fantastic and helped us organise cars as well as recommend things to see and do around the area. Nothing was too much trouble. I would happily stay here again and can highly recommend. "

"Wonderful property. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful room. Fabulous staff. A bit isolated, however. You’ll need to drive, or be driven, about 15 minutes into town if you want to walk around for shopping, food or drinks. Just head toward the Bich Dong Pagoda and you’ll find the town. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Little Tam Coc. Don’t judge this place by the room rate. We felt it was worth more than what we paid. We were treated like family. The rooms were spacious and the bedding was clean and warm. Check in was quick and easy. We were asked what we wanted to eat for breakfast, Vietnamese or Western breakfast. We chose Vietnamese and they were made and served fresh. They were delicious!! They offer bicycles and motorbikes to drive into and around town. The property is located 5 minutes walk from the touristy food and market scene. Far enough to get some peace if you need it but close enough to where all the action is. It is a family run business run by the SWEETEST people. I’ve read some critiques about the old-fashion locks on the doors of the rooms, but personally we felt that they added charm to the place. It may be challenging for some to accept but it reflects the culture and safety of the area. We were a family of 5 and had been to Tam Coc a few years previous. We did not stay here but wished we did. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area of Ninh Binh. We will definitely return to Little Tam Coc when we have a chance."
