"Great friendly staff. Pod room is ok, pods are great. Needs a small shelf in the pod. Wifi could be better. Add microwave to the kettle they already have. It's always kava time at the bamboo and everyone is welcome. "

"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"This was by far the best part of my trip, staying here. The food was great, the hostel rooms were clean and comfortable. The 5 bedroom door had great air con to keep it cool at night. Lots of local trips close by. Would go back :)"

"This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down. "We loved it. Everyone was so lovely and the staff were incredible. I loved the detail in the rooms and the care taken. The hotel staff made the experience so lovely, on top of the fantastic amenities and options. We enjoyed the pools , food and beauty of the place. "

"This property is well maintained, neat, and clean, which I most appreciate. The rooms are well designed, spacious, and fully loaded with all the amenities you could think of. The garden is lovely, and the breakfast buffet offers a good spread of items to choose from. The staff is very attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The price is a bit high, but since I visited during the off-season, it was not an issue. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable stay"
