"The place is located on top of a night club that is open from Wednesday to Saturday up until 6 am. With bells ringing at 7:30am. When confronted about it, owner deflected and lied about the club being in the description. Drunk young people screaming all night long with glass bottles all around. "We stayed in this lovely property for 4 weeks in June. The owners of the gite were incredibly helpful and always available if needed. The gite is spacious and charming and very well equipped. La Charité is a gem and being in the main street meant that everything was at our fingertips, from the boulangerie to bars to hairdressers. And a great auberge just around the corner. Unlike most old towns there is plenty of parking. I would recommend this delightful gite without hesitation."
