"Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. So nice, I fear its secret will be out soon and it will grow and lose some of its charm. I recommend you get to it now! Martyn, Shirley & family. "

"Our second stay here and it was just as good as the first time. Spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning kept it comfortable at night. Brilliant pool just a few metres away and with the beach and village just a few minutes walk everything you need is within easy access. We had a small water leak in the bathroom but 30 minutes after reporting it a member of staff arrived and it was quickly fixed. We were expecting a clean at the end of the first week. It wasn’t a big deal and we could have chased it up."

"A lovely place, situated conveniently close to beaches, various restaurants, local shops and a 'mini'market'. Free parking is available uncovered or covered. None of the properties around the 20m x 10m pool look at each other, increasing your privacy. The only downside was the management dealing with problems etc. We advised them that the TV was not working. They said that that they would arrange for an engineer to come out, but nobody came."

"Super place to stay near the beach with fantastic views of the bay. Rooms very practical and clean, bed very comfortable. Poool and bar pretty great place to relax after day windsurfing. Wish we had stayed longer, very good value, will be back next year."

"I made a reservation via Expedia on January 19. We've paid for the room. Today we came to the hotel, on March 27, after 24 hours of traveling there from home in USA. Manager of the property told us she doesn't have a reservation from Expedia. Moreover we've got a confirmation from VRBO and owner of this particular studio i had reserved via Expedia and paid said that he does not know anything about us. We are using Expedia service for years and now we are in different country without place to stay. "
