NEW FOR THE 2025 SEASON, Experience a beautifully remodeled kitchen with elegant new cabinets and quartz countertops. Enjoy modern LPV flooring throughout the first and third levels. Relax in the living room with new furniture and unwind on the screened-in porch, which features fresh new seating. Stay entertained with five new smart TVs and refresh yourself with a convenient outdoor hot and cold shower.

When you first pull into the driveway, you're unsure whether to run to the beach, steps away, or explore all three and a half floors of the home. The main floor is comfy with a large HDTV above the fireplace, ocean views while seated or on the decks, a BBQ grill, a screened porch, and a kitchen, which allows the chefs to remain part of the great room conversations. Spiral stairs lead to a loft where kids can call their own, or adults can escape for some secluded time.

The washer/dryer is conveniently located on the middle level. The lower level has a large game room with a pool table and a wet bar. Exit the slider to the private pool area with a hot tub, where you may spend most of your time during the week. What could be better than a large, well-appointed home close to the beach and private pool?

The private pool is open seasonally from  4/26/2025 and closes 10/12/2025. Dates are subject to change.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool.

Nice location but needs some love.
The location was great for us. Walking distance to coffee and super-fast to the beach. We could bike to the grocery store as well. The house could use some love and attention. The kitchen was not fully stocked with trash bags, dish towels, potholders or a drainer. There were not enough towels either, which seemed weird. And the house could use some regular maintenance and a deep clean. We had some current and former cleaning company owners in our group so we cleaned but we should not have to.

Beach fun
Overall everything was wonderful. There were a few complaints, the ice maker in frig did not work, the icemaker on bottom floor did not work and stereo and dvd player in livingroom did not work. Just word out for the older people who may have knee or hip problems, there are 3 flights of stairs, 4 if including the spiral staircase leading to the loft.

Sea Breeze was Great
We enjoyed our stay at Sea Breeze. Pros - Clean. Pool table. Hot tub (they change the water between every guest stay). Cons - we didn't get lucky with weather so we wanted to get the fireplace going to add to atmosphere since we had to stay indoors. I don't think it was working and I contacted Vacasa who said they'd look into it but never heard back. We did have an appliance repairman come to fix the refrigerator and ice maker which we had no problems with so maybe there was a mix up. Not a big deal and we would definitely stay here again.

Great views and location, but not much worked in the house. Half of the TVs didn't work in the bedrooms, ice machine was broke, 2 toilets didn't flush properly, dryer took 2 cycles every time to get clothes dry, gas fireplace didn't work which was a bummer since we got this house to wait out a storm (we let the rental company know and they said they would send someone out, but no one ever came). Also, utensils were dirty and oven mits were completely covered in food from prior guests. The kitchen drawers were dirty inside and needed to be cleaned.

Perfect for what we needed.
Thank you all so much for quickly and adequately resolving our last minute relocation situation by approving this house for us. The house was fantastic for what we were in need of. We had a wonderful time and are already discussing potentially renting it again someday. I also wanted to recognize the woman who came out to clean and service our hot tub. It was great getting to talk to such a friendly local person about life in Avon, and we really appreciated being able to use the hot tub. I did want you all to know that there is a board on the top deck that is compromised and needs to be replaced ASAP because it will eventually snap when someone walks on it and become a potentially pretty dangerous situation. I took a picture of it but can’t paste it in this feedback section. I can email if you’d like. Thank you!

Upon arrival the living areas were clean and in order. After a few hours we noticed the two toilets on main living areas were constantly running. Fans in the bedrooms were extremely loud and creaked. Grill was unusable, outdoor shower area you could grow potatoes in. Pool was decent as was hot tub. Bathroom fixtures from the 80's. Second level door to outside was very hard to lock. Seems like Vacasa doesn't care as several of these issues were mentioned in a April review.

Terrible
I have never been more disappointed in a vacation rental. We come to the OBX every year for the last 5 years. We have never had a bad experience. This house was the most dirty unkept house we have ever rented. Nothing was cleaned. Hair everywhere. Dirty dishes pots and Pans whew discussing. The BBQ was so dirty we couldn’t even use it. I had to buy a charcoal grill. I had to clean and buy things to clean it was so bad. The oven was so gross it couldn’t be used. We took time out of our lives people took off of work without pay. One couple left. We called no one cared to even call us back. Had to buy too much cleaner so much stuff. I have never been this disappointed in a vacation ever.

Family Friendly Getaway

Nice house, but...
...very shabby and run down, with far fewer accoutrements (no drying rack or ice cube trays in the kitchen, no soap in the bathrooms, etc.) than we're used to on beach trips. Many or the same old issues with OBR/Vacasa houses as well... the refrigerator smelled like fish, the ice maker didn't work, the front door wouldn't lock, busted out screens on the porch, a barely-working grill, that sort of thing. Oh well, at least the beach was close!

Not quite as pictured
Location was good, short walk to beach & the view was fine. Disappointed in the house that it was not as pictured & not as clean in some areas. I am not sure whether it’s because it’s for sale but some things didn’t work, furniture was stained and no paperwork to explain how things worked. We rented based on description & pictures as we have previously but this time it was disappointing. Would not rent this place again.

My thoughts
I have in this house twice before. I love the house. Nice pool, very nice hot tub, and very accessable to the beach as well as just a great overall location. Now for the bad this time. I called Vacasa on Tuesday and the lady put a ticket in. All the outdoor chairs on the upper deck were cracked or broken. The rental office is right across the driveway. I went there the next day and explained the problem. We left this morning and the chairs still hadn't been replaced.
