There are also pickleball and tennis courts nearby and the golf course is right out the backdoor. The Eagle-Vail Swimming Pool is also nearby and available for your use at an additional cost. Other must-visit attractions include Avon Recreation Center, Harry A. Nottingham Park, Walking Mountains Science Center, Vilar Performing Arts Center Beaver Creek, Beaver Creek Resort, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and Vail Ski Resort.

When you aren't out experiencing all that the city of Avon has to offer, spend memorable evenings with your loved ones on the spacious deck, which offers unbeatable views of the mountains and nearby golf course. Start up the gas grill and prepare a delicious meal outdoors while soaking up some sun. Inside, spread out comfortably in the welcoming living room, furnished with a comfy sofa, a gas fireplace, and a cable TV. This is a great spot to cozy up, watch TV, or read a good book. You will find a well-appointed kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. Prepare a delicious home-cooked meal and gather around one of two dining tables or grab a quick bite to eat up at the breakfast bar before heading out on your next adventure. The second floor also has a primary suite has a private balcony to enjoy the night sky, a TV, and a gorgeous en suite bathroom with a shower with a built-in bench, double vanity, and a splendid soaking tub.

The first floor enjoys a family room with a huge TV with cable, a wet bar, a laundry area with a washer/dryer, and three additional bedrooms. The bunk room is the perfect place for the kids to escape to at the end of a day of adventure!

Not what we hoped for
We expected a better experience from previous VRBO stays. We were told at 12:45 p.m. that an early check-in had been approved, but when we arrived at the house at 3:45 p.m. the door code would not work. When I called Support the person told me we had to wait to 4:00 p.m. on the dot - Strike 1. When we pulled into the garage, there was garbage overflowing from trash cans, trash bags, and loose garbage on the right side of the garage. It was a mess and stank badly. I called again and was told it would be taken care of immediately - it was not taken care of until later the next afternoon. Strike 2. The house itself was clean enough, but there were numerous tripping hazards (you need to step up to the living room level, step up two steps to the dining room, and step up again into the Master Bed Room area), and there was no hand rail leading from the front entrance to the downstairs area. In addition, there was minimal head room in the stairwell as you went downstairs. We consider these as safety hazards and did not feel safe. Strike 3.
