BEACH HAPPY Large Beach House with BODACIOUS VIEWS OF OCEAN AND SOUND

2024 was a great year for us and I want to thank all our guest for choosing Beach Happy and taking such good care of the house, we had 100% 5 star guest !!! Avon was first called Kinnakeet, the first settlers were Algonquian Indians, the Post Office in 1883 changed the name to Avon, do not know why! Beach Happy is a semi-ocean front property located on the secluded North End of Avon, NC. Beach Happy offers perfect 360° views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound. The ground level of the property offers covered parking, capable of fitting more than four vehicles under the house. Additionally, the property offers an outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, and park grill on the grounds. Beach Happy is 2 stories, sitting over 20 feet off the ground. The first floor houses four bedrooms, each having access to a full bathroom. The second floor houses the living quarters of the home, providing a kitchen, bar seating, kitchen table, dining table, living room, sitting room, and playroom. Both floors provide wrap around decks, offering views of both the ocean and sound at each level, with ample seating and outdoor furniture on both floors. The playroom is stocked with books and games for children of all ages, including a foosball table. Beach Happy is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a beach access ramp only thirty feet from the property. Finally, Beach Happy is situated close to popular wind surfing locations, shopping, restaurants, and other water excursion destinations. Book now! No pets. Check in is 4 PM Check out is 9 AM. We had a great week at Beach Happy! We had two teens, one tween, and 5 adults and we had plenty of room. Kitchen was great for cooking simple meals for all of us, it was a short walk to the beach and to several restaurants. It was clean and comfortable.

The house was exactly as pictured. Super comfortable, clean, beautiful views. Beds were comfortable. Even with the unfortunate weather we enjoyed the hot tub and the short walk to the beach when it wasn’t raining. The home was well appointed and we needed nothing. Brenda was amazing and always easy to reach with an answer to any questions.

This was our second year staying at Beach Happy, and it was again amazing! We LOVE that it's so close to the beach but in a safe cul de sac. The kids and adults loved playing in the game room! Brenda is a FANTASTIC host who communicates so well, and wants your vacation to be top notch. It is refreshing and wonderful to have someone so personable and sweet. We highly recommend Beach Happy!

Annual Avon Trip
We have been going to Avon annually since 1991- we have been house hoppin the last couple years looking for our new annual home. This place was above perfect for our needs- with four teens and significant others/friends- and us (late 40s/50s) it was super cozy for all of us. Avon gives you quiet sleepy town evenings and a quick drive up or down the island to excursions like mini golf, go cards, and zip lining. We were able to enjoy sunrise and sunset from the top deck as the sound and ocean are both viewed from this home. Can’t ask for a better family vacation.

Like Home - But Way Better!
Beach Happy is so welcoming and equipped with everything you might need that it feels just like home - but WAY BETTER of course! Wonderful views the ocean and the sound and such a short walk to the beach. We loved beach walks every evening, reading books , playing foozball and watching stars at night. Would absolutely choose to stay here again!

Two big wins!
This was our first family trip to the OBX and the first time we used VRBO (better later than never!) We can’t say enough about both! Brenda’s house was perfect for my husband, me and our triplet 13 yr old boys. Everyone had their own space to relax. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. We loved the proximity to the beach, which was amazing! The boys played a lot of basketball which was an added bonus! I loved having so many choices of where to sit outside and read with a great view! I told Brenda we can’t wait to come back.

Great relaxing vacation
We had a great vacation at Beach Happy. Brenda is very responsive via text or phone , a great owner to rent from. The views of the sunset were amazing and views from the ocean side were wonderful also. Lots of uncrowded beach with beach access path very close to the house. Meals at the local restaurants were excellent. Wish we had stayed longer. We definitely would stay here again.
