Fantastic and lovely place to stay, just opened and renovating so was a bit noisy at times. Should be done by the next visit for someone to enjoy! Beautiful spot in the mountains not far from any adventure!

Nice location midway between Edmonton and Vancouver. Wonderful hosts, newly renovated accommodations. Opened just a few weeks ago so the usual start up issues but very accomodating. Very clean and nice furnishings. Cannot avoid the railroad...ear plugs are useful if that's an issue. A couple of hundred yards from the railway line, so if you are a light sleeper bring your ear plugs! The trains run all night.

I really love the cleanliness and hospitality of this lodge. Upon request the owners didn't even hesitated to add extra toiletries. Also, I did forgot my driver's license at the reception counter and left the province. Rommel did get back to me over the call, asked for the current address and sent it promptly by Xpresspost. Thanks Rommel! That's how customer experience should be absolutely seamless. The Avola Mountain Lodge is must recommended.

The new owner and everyone that works there were so nice. This was one of my favorite stays on the drive from Texas to Alaska. We saw a bear right on the edge of the lodge property. Everything was new and very clean. We took a drive to Wells Gray Park to see Spahats Falls. Great spread of muffins, breakfast bars, soda, and coffee
