Had a fantastic stay at this place! The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close to local attractions & restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, providing detailed instructions for check-in and helpful tips for exploring the area. We highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Avignon!

The apartment was wonderful and really convenient to everything in Avignon. Very nice to use the kitchen for breakfast and to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was amazing to have in the heat of the summer. Great communication from the host and very responsive.

Just perfect
My teenage daughter and I stayed here for four nights and everything was great. Hosts are lovely, communicative and helpful. The apartment was very clean and photos are accurate. We loved the very central location. We’d stay here again.

Perfect Provence!
Paul and Claudie have created a perfect space for exploring Avignon and Provence. Right down the street from Les Halles, and an easy walk to everything. Paul greeted us and provided an awesome introduction to this sweet, sweet property. We can’t wait to return next year!

Perfect apartment in Avignon
This place has everything! Perfect location - close to the center of town, very close to the food hall and many restaurants, but tucked away so you don’t get any of the noise from the nearby bars at night. It was clean and comfortable. Paul was ready and waiting for me when I got there and took the time to explain everything to me, and was prompt to meet me when I was checking out as well. I selfishly don’t want anyone to know about this place, I definitely plan on being back!

The host are great. The location is unbelievable. In the center of everything. Everything you need is within walking distance. No car needed. We found that out😂😂. We’ll definitely will book it again. Thanks for a great time in a cool city behind the wall. Love it.

Beautiful apartment in charming location
We had a wonderful stay in Avignon. The apartment was clean, well furnished, and in an amazing location. Within walking distance to the Palais des Papes and a lot of other activities. We rented a car for the week and were able to park easily in the Palais’ parking lot and had a great time visiting the nearby villages. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Claudie met us at the apartment and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities to do in the area and showed us how to use the washing machine and other amenities. We had such a wonderful stay, thank you for your amazing hospitality!

Wonderful!!
It was great a great location for exploring the old Avignon. Very walkable. The whole experience was very enjoyable, with help from our hosts. The only disappointment was our choosing of February time frame. Nice to be out of high season traffic, which we intended, but a few things were closed for winter holidays. Thank you Paul and Claudie. We had a great time and a very unique quaint experience in your beautiful spot.

Perfect stay in Avignon
Spotless quiet apartment in ideal location. Lovely blend of full modern remodel with ancient stone walls and wooden ceiling beams. Excellent bathroom with plentiful stable hot water and nice shower. Comfortable bed with lots of built in storage in the small bedroom. New sound resistant windows. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners could not be better. Extremely responsive and caring with no intrusion. Highest recommendation

Fantastic place in central Avignon near the market
Paul and Claudine are great hosts. The apartment is charming and close to shopping, the farmers market, cafes and restaurants. Avignon is a lovely town for a week or two in Provence, with access to Nimes, Arles, St. Remy, Aix, Chateaux Neuf de Pape, and further locations by train like Nice, Marseille, and others. A short TGV ride (2.5 hours and $70 one way) from Paris and into the historic town of Avignon (one hundred years of popes lived here). Great place. Charming owners. And a lovely town central to all Provence excursions. Mike

Great Home away from Home
We stayed in this thoughtfully laid out apartment for a week, and we were sorry to move on. It is just like the pictures and as mentioned in other reviews, the owners were fabulous, and helpful, not just with recommendations, but also being flexible and gracious with our departure time (Very Early Morning....) Thank you Paul and Claudie! The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed comfortable, and the shower was lovely. We enjoyed the boulangerie Le Fournil des Halles at 8 rue Petite Meuse - the fresh baguette was wonderful, and so were all their pastries. Favorite restaurant just a few blocks away, Fou de Fa Fa, and of course, the Marche Les Halles just half a block away.

LOVED IT!
LOVED IT! A super clean and comfy apartment in the heart of old Avignon - a fantastic central location! Paul is an amazing host who goes out of his way to ensure you have a great stay. He met us upon arrival and helped with the bags up the stairs, and he had some really helpful information about the city to guide your stay. We had a car and parked at the Palais des Popes as recommended by Paul. It was easy to access and exit the parking garage. You take a ticket when you arrive and pay at the machine on the top level upon departure. Although we did not see them when we arrived - there are elevators in the garage!!! So take a look around before taking the stairs - especially if you are parked on a lower level and you have luggage! Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for sharing your home with us - we had a great time!

Everything about our stay with Claudie and Paul was perfect! Claudie met us exactly when we were scheduled. She is delightful and made herself available if we needed throughout our stay. She responded quickly whenever we contacted her and was delighted to share information about her city with us. The apartment is perfect. It’s in a fantastic neighborhood, a ten minute walk to the central train station in a quiet neighborhood filled with restaurants, grocery stores, pedestrian streets filled with lovely shops and the Halles market. It is in the heart of Avignon and about a ten minute walk to the Palace du Popes. The apartment itself was perfect. A spacious bright clean kitchen/living area overlooking a lovely pedestrian street; a cozy comfortable bedroom and a great bathroom with a nifty heater. We specifically looked for a place with a washer and air conditioning, but it had so many more amenities! We enjoyed finding our dinner and breakfast at the local market and eating at the apartment. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The building is old, and the apartment is accessed by two very old and somewhat precarious stairways. I’m 61 with a replaced hip and knee and had no problem. We’re hoping to return to Avignon someday. When we do, we will ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

A wonderful location beside the synagogue
An excellent base for a couple wanting to explore Avignon, provided you can handle a couple of tricky flights of stairs. The apartment is fully equipped with all you need and just steps from the nearby market. Highly recommended.

Lovely Apartment in Perfect Location.
This charming apartment is in a perfect location for exploring all of the city on foot. The train station in town is also an easy walk for possible daytrips. The apartment is nicely furnished and a has a fair amount a closet and storage space. Paul and Claudie couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I highly recommend this property. The only downside for us (at our age) were the two flights of stairs.

The apartment is well equipped, incredibly clean and in a fantastic location. The host Paul, is extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. With an injured knee the stairs were the only problem for me. Can highly recommend.
