"The staff don't speak or understand Catalan, the main language in the area. They charge extra 25€ fee to clean the room when you come with a pet (little or middle size. Big size dogs are not allowed), but the room, initially, was extremely dirty. The floor was full of dust and hair from other guests (nobody cleaned that room the past two months. "If you don't mind walking 15 min a bit uphill, not steep, from the train station (past a small market) this is a great option. Missed my train to Monserrat and stayed here. It was a gem really. Clean, coffee maker in room, excellent shower, comfortable bed. Another 12 min to rack railway. Arrived after 7pm, hotel restaurant was closed but owner had reached out on Whatsapp with code for entry (phone number on door). Thank you!!!! Great option for price. Would stay again. "

"It's a nice hotel with great staff but the drains in my room's bathroom (Rm. 14) smelled really bad. They could not be resolved during my 3-night stay. Quite an expensive stay overall. Very close to town so 10 minutes walking found some open restaurants."

"Friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was a good spread with delicious breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, etc. room had a good shower and updated bathroom with a lovely mountain view. My only negative during my stay was the carpet in the room could have been nicer-there were footprints and stains on it. Also room had a strong perfume smell I could have done without. "

"First time in Font Romeu and this was a lovely place to relax. Ideally placed in the centre of the town it was easy to walk to bars and restaurants. Not everything was open due to it being between the seasons and with Covid 19 on top of that. "
