"We had a fantastic stay at this country retreat. From the moment we booked Chez was a gracious and attentive host, providing everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property itself was beautifully presented with four big queen rooms, open fires, an amazing outdoor entertaining area and large central bench style kitchen. "Great property.. enough space for 3 couples and 4 children. Pool was excellent, two fridges was handy for us, house was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the view of the river from the house and enjoyed a few drinks and food on the table and chairs under the shady trees.. beautiful countryside. Close to Melbourne but feels like you’re far away! (In a good way!) The owners were responsive and able to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend. Thanks for the stay. "

"I arrived late after dark and the destination / address listed was not where my confirmation said - despite a new GPS in a new Ford Ranger then google maps on my phone - I simply could not find the place. Signage needs to be improved off the main road- I actually can’t say if the place actually exists! I wouldn’t mind a refund or a credit to stay another time. I had to drive 40 Km away to get into a motel to get to my son at Puckapunyal the next day for a March out. Really disappointed 😢"

"Quirky barn, rural, walking distance to beautiful restaurants in Bank St. Hosts are lovely and very responsive. Loads of old memorabilia. Bedrooms are upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Great garden and surrounds."

"The property was great and hosts were lovely. The location was fabulous and we enjoyed a perfect getaway, cycling the Great Victorian Rail Trail. ‘Tiny’ living was great fun and having the clear starry night sky and neighbouring donkey as our entertainment was fabulous and a welcome relief from City hub-bub! "

"House keeping was not good enough as rubbish bin in kitchen was full of rubbish on arrival. Dangerous stairs and deck, they didn’t have any railings and the whole unit didn’t feel safe. "
