"This property is clean, convenient to many restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was the typical eggs, sausage with waffles. We loved that it was pretty friendly for our dog to walk in the designated area. We would definitely stay again at this location."

"I was extremely surprised at this lodging for such a low price. The rooms were very clean, the hotel was not out of date or funny smelling. We got a suite (full kitchen in our room- refrigerator, stove, microwave) for less than $80 a night,including tax. Located near food, within walking distance. And again, I was just amazed. It was very easy in and out access, and I have zero complaints. Missed having a pool, but this is meant mainly for extended stay, not family vacation necessarily. Breakfast is grab and go, not a full breakfast, but for the price full breakfast should not be expected. If you're on a budget and you just want a clean inexpensive place to stay, I just don't think you could lose out here.Comfortable beds too; very comfortable!!!"

"This historic property lived up to and beyond every expectation. Most will be unable to garner a stay at the Boarding House, and in my opinion, this does quite nicely and is very comparable. We had the King room on 4th floor with sofa bed. We didnt use the bed in the sofa but it was a very comfortable sofa for sitting, and the room was very nicely appointed with Frontier decor, and was ever so comfortable. Our room was on the pointed end of the hotel and the kitchen looked out over the town, the right side overlooked the Mercantile and the left the little cottages and the courthouse maybe up on the hilltop.. There was a kitchen nicely decorated with larger than normal hotel fridge. I think my husband counted 16 windows, and the curtains are floor to ceiling which makes it very eye appealing. Comfortable bed and nice walk in closet space as well as decent bath accommodation with walk in shower. We could not be happier with the surroundings here..we went for a stroll into the downstairs area, all beautifully decorated in era appropriate items..the foyer is amazing with its marble staircase and beautiful stained glass light fixtures. Would stay here again and again. Really an unexpected option smack in the middle of town. You wont be disappointed. We were quite happy with our choice. "
