Featuring 2,393 sq. ft. of living space with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests. | Built in 1915 (fully remodeled in 2000) and retains all the island charm that Catalina has to offer with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of cooking space and all the essentials for a large group or family. | This home also features a private balcony with lots of seating for everyone and a propane grill. | The closest grocery stores are Vons, Abe's Liquor Store and Vons Express. Nearby coffee shops include Ben's Bakery, Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co and Cafe Metropole. Relaxing few days in Catalina
Uplifting place to stay: bright, spacious , well decorated and well-equipped. Especially loved sitting on the deck in the morning and enjoying views of the ocean and the town.

We stayed 4 nights. The view from patio was the best. Kitchen is well stocked and top of the line appliances. Lots of space for families/couples. TV upstairs and downstairs is great for families with kids. Short walk to downtown area. Up hill walk home but definitely worth the view.

Perfect house for our group!
We loved this home. Very cozy, great kitchen (we cooked most of our meals) and the beds were comfortable. Overall, we highly recommend. Good communication with the property manager. We had a group of 6. It is a bit of a hike of the hill with luggage, but we managed!

Avalon fun
Our stay was fantastic - beautiful house to celebrate a couple of girlfriends special birthdays. Six of us comfortably stayed in this beautiful place. Other than the hill (which was definitely manageable) the location is great to get all around the island. Truly enjoyed our stay at this terrific property.

The condo was spacious and clean except for the floors needing a better cleaning and the tubs still had hair in them. Great kitchen though we didn't cook anything but coffee.

Amazing stay in Avalon
This house is the best! Eight of us stayed for a long wedding weekend. Roomy, well designed, everything we needed was there. We were able to keep our e-bikes in the garage, used the beach chairs and umbrella, beautiful kitchen and awesome deck. So much fun!!

Perfect Weekend Retreat
Our family of 5 really enjoyed this home. It was so nice to sit outside on the deck & enjoy the beautiful view. The house was very clean & furnished with a really great beach/ocean decor. The beds were comfortable. Everyone had plenty of room & we were thrilled with the 3 bathrooms. We were all able to sit together at the dining room table for meals & the kitchen was stocked with anything you would need for cooking. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything we hoped for and more!
This was a women's trip and worked out perfectly. It was a great location and we worked up an appetite going up and down the hill and the stairs. The kitchen was fantastic, the bedrooms great and it was wonderfully well appointed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony for happy hour and early morning coffee. We could tell sometime enjoyed decorating the home with beach themed touches. I would highly recommend and would stay here again anytime.

House was great but there is no hot water downstairs. Need better pillows. The tv never worked with sound. Had to use app for tv sound to work. We all had to shower upstairs to have hot water

The lighting at night in the upstairs living area was not very bright at night. Needs brighter bulbs. Could also have used some extra blankets (chilly weekend). Otherwise, nicely outfitted and comfortable.

Nice property, could be better
Great kitchen and location. Big enough for a group of 8. Comfortable beds. But cleaner rang doorbell at 8:45 just to say that we need to leave by 10. We were told we could leave a little later by the property manager but that apparently wasn’t communicated to the cleaners. I have never stayed at a place where the cleaners think it’s ok to come knocking before check out.

Great Kitchen, Pretty Good Views
Lots of pots, pans, and utensils in the kitchen. Nice grill on the deck. Great for our group that likes to cook together. We had some issues with the hot water not being hot... but then it was hot again so who knows? House was not cleaned properly upon check-in, but management made it right in the end. I bring this up not to say this place is not clean (I expect the problem was a bit of bad luck on a busy week and is not the norm), but to highlight management's responsiveness: it's good. Would recommend!

Can use some improvements
A lot of things were really dirty and had stains like the couches, bed spread etc. Some of the kitchen cabinets were filthy inside. The faucet in the kitchen was very wobbly, the toilet downstairs leaked when you flushed, the door from the master to the balcony didn’t open… A lot of things need to be fixed before other tenants rent this property. Otherwise location was great though and so was the view from the balcony.

Nice home on a very steep hill
Beautiful, clean home on a very steep hill with a nice view from the deck. Upside down floor plan. No laundry, stingy on towels.( Only one kitchen towel provided for a 5 day stay). No hot water in one bathroom. Called office, but they never delivered. Incorrect TV instructions, no batteries in a TV remote. Lots of beach accessories in garage was a nice surprise, chairs, umbrella, etc.

Perfect for two families with older children
Great meeting place for two families of four with school-aged kids (aged 9-11): we would definitely return. Worked great for us but wouldn’t necessarily recommend for younger kids due to glass table in living room, steep stairs to front door, etc. Overall clean and as-advertised. Short walking distance from everything, with the caveat that there is a steep a hill leading up to the property so best for the able-bodied. Enjoyed being part of a “locals” neighborhood as it gave the stay a more authentic and less touristy feel… we could escape the cruise shippers! Lovely balcony with a grill for outside meals and enjoying the sunshine. Very nice gas stove and range for cooking. Minimal toilet paper/paper towels provided so guests should be prepared to supply their own. Also, make sure to bring enough clothes as there is no washer dryer and you don’t want to spend your time at the laundromat!

Gorgeous view but downsides on property
The stunning views help slightly ease the other glaring problems with this property. Very dated except the kitchen. Beds old and uncomfortable. One room in particular had garbage under the bed, stained and dirty sheets, human hair from the last occupants, and general lack of caring. Unfortunately after contacting Catalina Vacation rentals four times, they simply did NOT bother to return ANY of my calls to try and rectify the problems. Therefore as much as I loathe leaving a negative review I have to warn others. This is not a cheap rental by any stretch. So it would seem they have you hostage and “ too bad, so sad” is their policy. I have owned rental properties in the past and this was simply a disgraceful way to be treated. What a shame!
