"Very nice, easygoing and chilling place. The house has definitely a spirit. Only my room had a window heading to the corridor so no daily light and lot of noise from the other guests talking and partying. I would appreciate the staff to keep the noise down in late hours."

"Very basic accommodations. The trade off is the cheap price and excellent location for shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Selina next door. It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. And no luggage storage when you checkout (have to pay 2,50 per bag at their partner storage site next door). The hostel felt dark and damp. "Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great. "
