"We have stayed here before and knew it was just about ok for an overnight stop, however our previous visits had been earlier in the year. On this occasion in July it was much warmer and the in room AC was almost pointless, barely any flow even on maximum and it did very little to cool the room. The room and building are showing their age and are shabby round the edges."

"Great location and quiet for this town. Easy parking and comfortable rooms. There needs a bit of work to clean up patio area, shabby furniture left randomly, unused unkempt barbecue, dog mess from hotel dog on lawn…but all could be easily addressed. Pool area open to children until 10pm so can be noisy until then and seems unnecessarily late! gym equipment limited and cramped. Overall would recommend though."

"We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "

Situated close to the railway station, the town centre and the old medieval town which is worth a stroll round. "Just wow. Firstly the photos didnt show just how big it acually is, we were blown away. We had an wonderful week staying at this beautiful house with our 2 boys, 8 and 10, and our sausage dog too. The area is so peaceful, the views were gorgeous. The property is secure so our children and pup were free to roam around whilst we relaxed. The pool was great with steps to get in and bigger than expected too. The children loved it. Isabelle who we met when we arrived was so lovely and very helpful...

"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."
