"Our last stopover of our holiday before getting the ferry from Calais. The area was very busy. A lot of shops, restaurants and a hyper market, handy if you need to fill up for your onward journey. Check in was easy by a very pleasant man. I had to pay for our dog, €5 per night. He changed our room to a larger one as we had the dog. Normally down graded !!! The room was comfortable, especially when we got the heating on. The bed was huge bigger than a king size and comfy. Bathroom was adequate. Huge shower cubicle, sink and toilet. Breakfast was ok you could have as much or little of what was on offer. All in all it served a purpose for 3 travellers and if needed to would return. "

"A wonderful property and lovely hosts. Elizabeth and Jean-Christian went out of their way to welcome us. A great selection of maps and tourist information on hand for your days out. The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. We would heartily recommend to other families. We expect we will visit again!"

"Really friendly staff and the hotel is just a few meters back from the beach and in the lovely old town. They were really helpful with storing our bicycles and accomodating our late arrival. "

"Very poor. Pool dirty, have eye infection. Poor property, Inadequate bathroom facilaties. Door hanging off in shower. Door handle to main door very lose. Overall poor property.. needs updating, property not what it presents. Matresses on all beds old, stained and marked. Very disapointed. Inadequate "

"Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. The photos of the hotel do not describe the property correctly. While you can see the hotel building on the photos, our room was in some low rise (1 floor) building which you enter from the outside. The bathroom was renovated except for the floor tiles which have seen better days (the same tiles were in the room as well). The room had such a strong chemical smell that was there to probably mask some other smell, which unfortunately was still coming through. When I approached the receptionist and asked for a different room as I had difficulty breathing, she completely dismissed my complaints. Stay away from this place."

"This is quite an old Campanile, which hasn't been refurbished in many years. The walls (woodchip) could do with a decent clean.The rooms show signs of smoke stains too. "
