"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"

"This property was OK for us though we couldn't arrive before 1730. Dan did let us leave our bikes while we went off to find somewhere to have a drink. We felt very much that we were living in someone else's house e.g. the bathroom had all of the owners stuff still in it. Breakfast was fine. Usually French fare."

"This property and its grounds really are as attractive as shown in the photographs . The owner Bruno has done a first class job at restoring the rural charm of his traditional stone house. Although he lives next door, we had total privacy, except for the times he brought round much welcome vegetables and herbs from his garden. Nothing was too much trouble. The location overall is so tranquil it’s easy to de-stress almost immediately - we felt we’d never slept better. There’s plenty to see and do in the neighbouring towns and villages, especially if you like browsing markets, taking a coffee etc. The nearest supermarket is c. five minutes drive away and has all you need. Or you can simply enjoy the grounds, read a book, or swim in the lake below. A thoroughly enjoyable week and a highly recommended gite."
