The exterior could use updated paint, but the room was absolutely excellent, both in how it was laid out, the cleanliness, and care taken by staff. Everything was very positive during our stay.

Stay was ok. The guy we checked in with was very nice, not sure his name. Older Motel, so it was relatively clean for what it is. The walls could use some attention. I would stay again if I needed a cheap place to stay on the south west side.

The property was a little hard to get to due to one way streets around the location. They also did not offer breakfast but did have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The room was clean no smells no bugs.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I really liked that the room had a microwave, fridge and coffee in the room. The ice machine was full and a great convenience. I was pleased with the shower. Ceiling fan was a plus. The towels were thin and small. The outside was a little scary, but ending up being safe.

Not recommended.
Not the worst motel that I have stayed in, but I would not be returning. My friend and I were accosted by a drunk long term resident as we were leaving our rooms. Woken at one a.m. by another guest hammering on my door claiming a medical emergency. She hammered on a number of doors. When spoken to by the manager (sworn at) she disappeared into the room next to mine, where I could hear her aguing with someone.

It’s a place to sleep but hopefully it’s cheap.
I’ve never paid so much to stay in such a sketchy motel. Room was fine. Dead bugs but at least they were dead. Shower was terrible. Area was questionable but I didn’t have any issues. Will not return. When my friends picked me up they offered to just have me stay with them instead.

The condition of the room was poor, but having to sleep in sorry bedding... That was disgusting. We would have moved but we arrived late and had no options. We laid our own beach towels on the bed so we didn't have to touch the sheets. It was bad. The desk attendant was very nice and helpful.

Heart of Texas was ok. It was the only "affordable" option in Austin for a quick overnight, so I wasn't expecting much. Room was clean but white bed covers had some stains stains. Towels were small and worn. Bed was pretty comfortable. Room was quiet despite property being located right on the highway. Property was pretty rundown. The guy that checked me in was not particularly friendly. If you just need a cheap place to sleep, it's okay
