Perfect location!
Mrs. Joan was such a sweet "mom away from home" for me! The location was ideal and the accommodations were just as described! So thankful to have found this place and will be back when returning to Austin!

Great stay
The place is in a great part of Austin and is a walkable distance to parks and grocery stores. It had everything I needed with lots of kitchen utensils. The place was clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. While there is some noise as it’s close to both a highway and train tracks, I work from home and had no issues. The host is super nice and her dog and cats were also friendly. Overall it was one of the best stays I’ve had!

Roomy and spacious, close to everything
Loved the area, the apartment, and our stay. I can’t say enough good things. Our host was so generous and thoughtful and went out of her way to help us with whatever we needed. The apartment bathroom/kitchen was very well stocked. Lots of natural light and privacy. Very close to HeB, restaurants, and quick access to Downtown/Central/North Austin. I- 35 is across the railroad tracks and there were homeless camps at the time of my stay, but I never felt unsafe walking the neighborhood alone and never had a problem with that or anything else during my long stay. We got to meet our host’s adorable dog a few times and she was the sweetest thing, and watchful of the property. We had our cat with us the whole time and the apartment worked out great. I highly recommend this place!

Cute Above Garage 1 Bedroom
We spent a month in this quaint little above garage apartment. The property owner is very engaging and cares a lot for her tenants. She's always in direct communication over text and in person if need be, extremely helpful with suggestions if you're new in town and very generous. The apartment is very clean and well kitted out, gas stove, electric toaster oven and dish washer. Comfortable bed, good water pressure and pet friendly.
