Affordable stay at a great location
This hotel was in a great spot for a stay in Austin, TX. Since it is in between 6th and Downtown, it is noisy throughout the night if you're an early bird. Nothing crazy- mainly peddle pub tour. We had 8 adults and just doubled up with the 4 beds. There was an air mattress available. The loft upstairs was spacious. The railing going upstairs was pretty steep & the top is definitely easy to trip on so just be prepared for that. One of the stabilizers was missing too so I recommend that being fixed to avoid injuries. They updated the couch which was nice because its cuter and super comfy. A few things were broken upon arrival so we took pictures just to cover our butts to avoid any charges (we didn't get any yet, but worth noting). Definitely an older complex but AC worked and it was still a comfortable place to stay. Kitchen had a coffee machine and cutlery available. We ate out but it would be easy to have eaten at home if need be. Prior to our trip the communication with the property manager was good and quick. Communication was non existent when we arrived, I had a few questions for Ryan that went unanswered. But thankfully the phone number provided for the complex allowed me to talk to whoever was there at the time. Check in was earlier than advertised so that was nice. Wouldn't recommend for someone who has a hard time with stairs, as its on the third floor & the stairs are a little sketchy. But overall we had a nice stay, minimal issues, & would recommend.
