Mixed experience
The positives were that this place was in a great location for what we needed, the layout of the floor plan was good for the family, and our dogs had the back yard to investigate outdoor space. The negatives were that both bathrooms smelled of very strong urine odor which seeped into the nearest sleep areas (it was sickening), the stove/oven had a cookie sheet full of grease from a past user (?), the furniture had food crumbs popping out from the creases, and the nighttime noise from a homeless man yelling obscenities in the old church across the street, the street cleaner, the trash pickup, loud popping noises and revved up car racing up Bouldin Street were just a few of the overnight noises we struggled to sleep through.

Unsatisfactory Stay
Location was great but numerous things made the trip an unpleasant experience. Ex: roaches in the kitchen, dirty glass in the cabinet, mattress worn down in the middle, not enough washrags, bathroom water pipe busted, poor customer service from Vacasa.

Quick trip to Austin
This house is a great location for easy walking to S Congress, Zilker and Lady Bird. One thing we wished would have been provided was washcloths. Only towels were provided. It also would have been nice to have paper towels. Other than that, the house was a good value for the price.

Overall this is a great spot and a good rental. Our one suggestion is that the beds were extremely soft and could use replacing.

Great location, cute home, loved the fire pit-- but main bedroom is a loft
We loved everything about this place EXCEPT the main bedroom is loft-style, open to the kitchen via unenclosed stairway. This means the bedroom is very bright in the morning, and can hear all sounds being made in the kitchen if somebody is in there. My complaint is mostly that this was not made clear on the ad; hosts PLEASE be forthcoming with important details like this! That said, we loved them proximity to downtown, loved the fire pit, and would love to stay here again.

Property needs attention
The location was great for us with the ATX Austin bike share rack a half block away and downtown a quick and inexpensive trip by ride share. This is an older home with fairly recent updating. The home had a funky smell for the first two days that seemed to come from the A/C system, so probably had been vacant for awhile. We did see large cockroaches in the kitchen drawers which resulted in lower rating. I reached out to property manager two weeks ago as I don't like to leave negative reviews but no reply so felt I should give a heads up here.

Great little house!
We loved our stay here. All the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked. The backyard was so pretty! And we loved how close it is to Butler Park, Lady Bird Lake, and downtown Austin. We'd definitely come back!

Quick trip
Overall property was great with an awesome location. However property management was difficult to get a hold of and check in process was difficult. They said they had sent me an email with check in process, however I could not locate the email. I asked for they to send me another email and they resisted. This caused us to have to wait outside while I texted back in forth with the property manager who also would not answer my phone calls. It also would have been helpful to have a break down of the house rules and Wi-Fi password located in maybe a binder or a piece of paper inside the house. I had to again reach out to the property manager who again resisted because they stated it was in the email, that I could not locate and asked to resend multiple times.

Wonderful house
Had a great time in this great home right off south Congress . Good location and peaceful . Lots of good touches in the home and plenty of room . My only suggestion is that the room with twin beds downstairs was warm and could use a ceiling fan . Other than that perfect !!!
