Great place for a younger couple
The property is a quaint bungalow nestled in a fun East Austin neighborhood. It had all the things we needed for a couple's weekend!
Good: choices of ways to make coffee or tea (coffee maker, French press, pour over, tea kettle, etc.). Large fridge for our groceries, full stove/oven and a nice butcher countertop with sink. Had pots/pans, silverware, all the basic necessities. The living room TV was a nice option if we wanted to stream our own content. Bathroom was comfortable and well stocked. Lots of great, walkable places to grab tacos or coffee. Easy drive to most places we wanted to visit. The host was extremely responsive and very easy to communicate with!
Bad: the neighbor across the street has 2 dogs who bark nonstop. We had to stream music or a sleep sound to drown them out, all hours of the day or night. There is also construction going on next door, from 8am sharp to at least 5pm, sometimes later. There were some small bugs in the house, which can be expected from being nestled in a wooded area.
