Location a plus, property a minus
We stayed for two nights as a staycation with friends. The overall impression amongst the group was disappointing, and we felt that there were a lot of small details that added up to a negative experience.
To start, the booking description indicates that an extra fee may apply for additional guests, and despite us having 7 (when the property is supposed to sleep 11), we were told there would be an extra person fee for every guest above 6 people. The next "paper cut" was the check-in info. The wifi information was inaccurate and we had to ask the host for clarification. The pool area was not clean (there was a trash bin full of cans from the previous guest), the pool itself was full of debris and the grill was filthy to the point that it was unusable. The yard was overgrown and did not look maintained. Moving to the inside of the property, several outlets were uncovered, vents not properly placed or missing entirely. The biggest discomfort overall though was that the AC was broken. Given it's 100+ degrees here in the summer, this is an absolute must for any property. The fact that this was not identified prior to our check-in speaks to a lack of management of the property. When we identified it to the property manager, we were told someone could come out the morning we were checking out, but to try and troubleshoot it ourselves. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with just the basics, is advise not to plan on cooking any elaborate meals here.
Overall we are disappointed.
