A peaceful and romantic architectural gem -Dripping Springs/ Austin

This rare, one-of-a-kind custom built casita is tucked away in a grove of trees on six acres in the Texas Hill Country between Austin (25 minutes to downtown) and Dripping Springs (15 minutes away). It's the perfect place if you want a peaceful getaway or to explore the Texas Hill Country, It is close to area wineries, distilleries, breweries, wedding venues, as well as outdoor destinations. We live on the property, but you can be assured that the casita feels secluded and private.
This home was designed and built by a talented craftsman with high attention to detail, design and comfort. Natural light fills every room with its wall-to-wall french doors and large windows. There are vaulted ceilings, pecan wood flooring & custom cabinetry through-out. The art collection of original paintings and photography make the space warm and inviting. The living room has a comfortable couch and wall inset 40” HDTV with cable. There is a nice stereo with CD and DVD player. A desk is provided. High speed internet 350+ MBPS.
The romantic bedroom has an organic Naturepedic king sized bed that overlooks the countryside. There is a walk-in closet with shelving and hanging space for your convenience. We provide soft robes for your stay.
The bathroom shower is glass tile with a door inside the shower area to the outdoors so you can have an indoor/outdoor shower experience on a nice day or evening.
Outdoors: The porch is the full length of the house and overlooks a meadow. There you will find rocking chairs, a small two person al fresco dining area, and the hot tub. This is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, bird watch, and star gaze. A gas grill and an outdoor fire-pit are provided.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The use of the fire pit is subject to Travis County Burn Ban restrictions.
OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
Cleaning fee- $150 2 weeks or longer $200
Rates are for 2 people. A third guest will be charged $25 per day.
The couch can be used as bed if needed to accommodate a third person.
Washer and dryer access are for guests staying 5 nights or longer. Please read all of the HOUSE RULES before booking.

House is beautiful, they took care of every detail. The outdoor space is awesome. Everything was super clean. They have everything you need in the kitchen to cook meals at home including bbq.

Very nice and extremely well designed home. New appliances and the entire home was well stocked / supplied for a great stay. Very comfortable bedding. We enjoyed complete privacy and great country views. The carport is a plus. If anything, the property description understates what you'll find upon visiting. We hope to enjoy the home again one day.

Our 3rd time at the casita, and it won't be our last! Always well appointed, clean and comfortable--we love this place. Andrea and Mike are top-level hosts and even left food and wine for us after our flight got so delayed that we arrived close to midnight. 10-out-of-10 for this rental, always!

The casita was beautifully kept. The host thought about every amenity possible. It is a peaceful and quiet area. Deer came walking up to the house in the morning and there were tons of birds on the feeder. The hot tub is perfect for cold nights. This weekend was the perfect getaway.

Wish I Could've Stayed Longer
Get in touch with nature at this property & by traveling less than 10 minutes to the local breweries with large deck space & outdoor games for all ages. Then go find some good eats & live music less than 30 minutes away in Austin! The host was extremely quick to respond to messages (usually less than 10 minutes) and had GREAT recommendations of places to visit. Would stay here again - 10/10!!

Best little getaway
The Casita is truly beautiful down to every little detail. The owner’s have thought of EVERYTHING. Out back is a scenic and relaxing retreat. We soaked in the hot tub, watched the wildlife, and kicked back in the rocking chairs. The bedding is unbelievably comfortable. The place smells amazing and feels like a home away from home. We hope to be able to come back some day!
