"The hotel is very clean and the staff in the adjacent bar are really great. The only down side is that there is nowhere comfortable to sit in the room to watch tv for example. "

"Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. Very friendly staff

"Staying here as the reviews looked good and it’s near the hospital where my partner’s dad is very poorly. The staff can’t do enough for us, they are so accommodating and friendly. We’ve actually just extended our stay for another evening. The hotel itself is beautiful too and the room is large and confortable and clean. Thank you staff! You’re brilliant! "
