Located conveniently at the end of the Flamsbana line. Gorgeous views. Breakfast had a good variety of options. Staff was helpful and patient as i practiced my Norsk! Tusen Takk!

The hotel was beautiful, though I believed it to be larger than it is before arriving, but that was just my perception. As with all European housing, the rooms are smaller than would be found in the USA. That is not a criticism, just an observation. We still put 4 adults into a family room comfortably. The restaurant in the Aegir Brewpub and the associated beers were excellent. Breakfast the next morning had all one might want. Registration and check out were simple and the staff were wonderful in all locations.

Amazing location
Amazing location right on the fjord. The hotel itself is split across several buildings beside each other. Great for taking or arriving from either the scenic train or the ferry.

It is one of the two bigger hotel in the Flam town, this one is certainly looks better with traditional wood house structure. It is located right at the tip where the town meets the water, so you have all the view you can enjoy. Staying in feels like living in a traditional old time Norwegian cabin, while within the room has all the modern amenities you need. We love the connecting restaurant which has a very good choice of locally brewed beer, and also crossover dishes of local food and different cooking styles.
