"After flying for 20 h, I arrived to this place to find nobody except for clouds of hungry mosquitos. I called, ringed the doorbell and waited for two hours until the mosquitos and the sun were unbearable. We went with my 80 plus y/o parents and my 10 y/o daughter to a hotel and as you can imagine, finding a hotel in Rome in the middle of the summer without reservation is not easy. We end up in a cheap hotel after paying the taxi 50 euros for taking us hotel hunting. I went back to villa magnolia...

"Good sized room. Bed sheets were fresh and clean, duvet didn't have a cover on. Shower is terrible. Shower head clearly hasn't been descaled in a long time and shoots water in all directions, shower head also didn't stay in the holder so had to use as handheld. Shower temperature/hot water - we had to run the hot water for 10 minutes to get anything remotely close to beung suitable to shower in - temperature never reached above 30deg C. Room was cheap in comparison to Rome prices. "

"Nice place! It was quiet and clean! The owner was very friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near the Vatican. The taxi stand was just across the street. There are numerous restaurants and bars (coffee shops) within a five minute walk. "

"I only stayed for one night, due to other reservations I had booked. Even so, it was a pleasant stay. Friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants, and many tourists spots. The hotel has a rustic vibe and it was in the process of getting some renovations, but no issues. "

Everything walking distance the only thing that was a problem is that the picture chowing the entrance but is another door in the butom of the stairs and it was closed so we couldn’t find the place and the names of the place is written in small print next to the ring buzzer that was a little issue I’m just whanted to let you know otherwise love the place thank you"
