The listing really does not do the property justice. There is a beautiful outdoor area. Also, it’s gated so your car and belongings are very secure even though it’s downtown in the middle of everything. The interior and exterior of the property is absolutely pristine. We had some check in snafus and the host was a bit difficult to reach, but worth staying. I already have another trip booked. Highly recommend! Best value in Augusta bar none.

Nice for a short stay. Close walking distance to restaurants.
It’s good for a weekend. Need bed linens for the sofa bed and I would suggest getting a lamp for both the sofa and the bed to be able to read while in bed without having the overhead lights on.
This was my second stay at the property. It wasn’t as clean as the first time. I had to take out the prior guest’s trash from both trash cans. These things can happen, so hopefully is was just a one-off.
This is a two story carriage house and the upstairs unit is also rented. There are hardwood floors and there is little insulation. Both stays I had awful upstairs neighbors who made it very difficult to sleep. This time the neighbors were nocturnal with a dog that ran back and forth all night and barked.
Furthermore, the property is next door to a night club called Outsyde. It was so loud on Thursday night my wife could hear the music next door during our telephone call from the sofa. It was so loud I had to turn up the tv.
If you want a unique property in a great location this is awesome. This is not the place for peace and quiet.
With all this said, I’d book again for compatible reasons.
The property overall was nice, had everything we needed. The location was perfect as we were in town for the Ironman 70.3 and were able to walk everywhere. Unfortunately there is a night club next door called The Pedal Pub. The Pedal Pub played music (had a DJ) so loudly that our windows were shaking! This is by no fault of the host but just an FYI if anyone books and does not plan on going out until 2am. It was very difficult to sleep
