"Everything was first class, except the food. French onion soup (in France) was like salted dishwater. No baguette nor cheese on top. The main course was also lukewarm. We have been coming to the hotel for years, when it was Ibis. We don’t expect Michelin star, but the food wasn’t brilliant. At best, it was ok. "

"Perfect location for Le Shuttle, with ample on site parking. Excellent pool and facilities, and friendly efficient service in the convenient and good quality restaurant. Family room was large and well equipped but chilly (December) - perhaps some rooms/corridors need modernising to the standard of the very smart reception area etc. But would definitely recommend and stay again."

"This is a charming converted chateau. close to Saint-Omer and the A26, and not far from Calais and the Channel Tunnel. The property is in a very quiet rural location, with ample parking. Staff were most helpful and the rooms have character. The restaurant is not open on Sundays but delicious snacks are available from the bar. Recommended"

"Hotel was good value, nice and clean and friendly reception staff. The room had been updated since our last visit with some good improvements to the bathroom areas. The hotel is very convenient with a free secure car park."

"We had a good stay before catching Le Shuttle. It’s very much budget end, but fine for a one night stay. Everything worked, although the plastic toilet flush operating button was cracked and ready to disintegrate. The shower was fine and had a good amount of hot water pressure. The bed was rather hard for my liking, but that seems quite common in France. The sheets and towels were clean and in good condition. "The hotel was great as it was situated perfectly to stroll into the village and there were great eateries close by. Would have been better if we had known that we needed to book in advance off street parking. Needs a little work done lie the wardrobe door was not opening and was off the rails. Just being picky overall a great stay"

"The staff are excellent and the food at dinner and breakfast really good. Excellent value for money plus gluten free bread available. It’s really close to Le Shuttle and we always stay there when returning to the UK now. "
