"We stayed here for a couple of nights to break up a long drive back to northern England from Burgundy. We left wishing we had longer as the area is beautiful, clean, quiet and the same could be said for the accomodation. The hosts were very welcoming and despite the language barrier due to our poor French, they gave us some great recommendations for our stay. The local pizza was very welcome after our long drive and a day at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme watching Sea Lions likewise. Would definitely love to come back to explore more of the area in the future "

"Although we have been to Northern France on numerous occasions this was a first, and it did not disappoint. Large property accommodating our party of 3 adults and 3 children (9-14). Enough bedrooms for all and a well equipped kitchen and a large loungec dine with all the cutlery and glasses you could wish for. In the evening the large dining table doubled up for card and other games. The pool was a clear winner with everyone enjoying the heated pool and the goodweather. we did not feel we had to go out much and took the opportunity to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings and the peaceful location. An added bonus was the homemade games that Francis had made along with the table-tennis, darts and table football, involving the whole family having several tournaments during our stay. As part of our trips to France we do enjoy the local bread and cheeses as well as wine. these became a staple of our stay but supplemented with the barbeque several times. Our hosts were delightful, although our lack of French was evident, but using Google Translate we managed to converse. If you are looking in this area for a gite, then this one is a must."

"The property manager was very accommodating, looking out for us, providing equipment when asked. The property was very clean and welcoming, had plenty of beds (10!) and two bathrooms (one bath, two showers). Plenty of room for cars in the driveway and well located near the town, this is 40mins from Le Touqet and Berck seaside resorts and 30 mins from the Anglo-French Chateau. 90 minutes away from Belgium if you fancy crossing the border and only 45 minutes from 'Le Shuttle'. The kitchen was well furnished and there's a washing machine and tumble drier. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Merci beacoup!"

"We had a great stay in Patrick’s house on arrival,we were welcomed and shown around the house by Justine. The house was lovely, well equipped and with plenty of space for 8 adults and 4 small children. The three bathrooms and two extra toilets also made life easier for all of us.The two kitchens (main and second smaller one) on opposite sides of the house turned out to be extremely useful as we were cooking for adults and children at different times. The garden was lovely a super space for all of us and very safe for the children( aged between 18 months and 5 years). Easy to access local town’s and especially the beautiful sandy beach at St Cecile Plage. We all had a lovely week, thank you Patrick and Justine."

"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. Outside areas could do with a tidy and the grass cut and patio furniture requires a clean or an upgrade. On a positive, the pool and table tennis in the basement room makes for a great evenings entertainment. Overall a pleasant stay."
