"This place had so many issues. The toilets didn’t work properly, only the upstairs bathroom flushes. So if you think you can have more than 5 people to this property - please be aware! The host put up an ad with a bunkie, which was on our arrival locked up cause the toilet apparently flooded everything and we were short of beds. The garage has the worst smell. It smells moldy. No one can possibly stand there for more than 5 minutes let alone sleep there as suggested by the host. The beds...

"It was beautiful! The hot tub was amazing, a little small but the perfect size for close friend / or family fun! Gorgeous view, a lot of extra kitchen tools and such are provided on site which was amazing! "

"We enjoyed the well-maintained well-equipped cottage. We got a guidebook that explained a lot about living at that cottage. Unfortunately, the heating in the basement, which was separate from the heating upstairs, did not work. Hot water for showers was a little problematic. Other than these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay there. Communication with the owner was very good."

"The Stonewood was beautiful located in quite bayfield nestled in the trees it’s a stones throw from town and a quick ride to Goderich and Grand Bend. The Stonewood with it’s impressive size has ample room for a large family or a group of friends with four bedrooms an ensuite with all for privacy and three bedrooms located on one end ensure quite and privacy at night . Beautiful place to stay with a lot to do on and off the property."

"A family of seniors enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at this cottage. Small soaps, coffee, chocolates and treats for our little dog were special extras that we appreciated. Lots of towels and facecloths were available and a lovely screened in porch was ideal for playing cards in the evening. A wonderful cottage for that was so enjoyable. Thank you. "

"Remote and quiet. Great for getting away from everything. The beach was 5 minutes away, and we had it to ourselves. The outdoor space was well thought out, and the bunkie was a nice hang out space, even if you don't need it for sleeping space. Only downside, and nothing the owners can control, is sulfur well water. The owners provide a filter, which helps, but consider bringing some drinking water. "

"Sandy Edge was exactly as described in the listing. It reminded me of my childhood cottage time in a wood cottage in Muskoka. I loved the wood interior and the thoughtful layout of the cottage. We had 3 couples and 2 kids stay during our time and we all had our own space. It was nice to have a couple bedrooms on the main level so that we had our own area. "We really enjoyed our 1 week stay from 17-24 Aug at this property. The listing info and pictures were an accurate reflection on what we saw and experienced, and the focal point we dealt with on the booking was fantastic in keeping us up to date and informed with useful info. A very nice property with stunning views of the sunsets on Lake Huron, and the city of Bayfield was an excellent place to relax and get into vacation mode. We would highly recommend this property. "

"We would have enjoyed our stay if it was cleaner. Spider eggs, cob webs and dead flies in cabinets. We aren’t very picky, but the place was not very clean."
