This bunk house is perfect. My daughters loved the rustic decor, feeding the horses and watching the long horns. It was the perfect spring break for me and my girls with plenty of space . It’s close to the ray Robert lake for an afternoon picnic and the tulip ranch for flowers and photos.

If you like waking up to a view of horses and cattle grazing, this is your place. Very peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were more than accomodating and really nice people. Area has outdoor options for hiking, horse back riding, and there seem to be a lot of wedding/special event venues close by too.

We stayed here for our XO marriage conference in Grapevine. Not a far drive in our opinion, and well worth the stay. The home had such a warm and cozy feel with a modern feel. Will be back for sure. My favorite weekend getaway EVER
My hubby and I have stayed at many VRBO’s all across the country. This is my favorite by far. It is so thoughtfully laid out and spotlessly clean. We loved being right next to horses and cattle on this working ranch—I just can’t tell you how peaceful the bunkhouse is! I wish we could move in and stay forever. peaceful and darling little farmhouse
We travelled to the area for our wedding at The Hillside Estate- it was the perfect location, being only 2 or so miles down the road from the venue! It was a darling farmhouse with the most beautiful and peaceful views. The host was so precious, checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed for the week! And even left us a bottle of champagne and a card as a wedding gift! Place was fully stocked with coffee, creamer, and all the essentials necessary! We had the best stay and we are blessed to get the opportunity to stay at The Bunkhouse during such a special occasion! ❤️

Fun Family Getaway
The bunkhouse was very clean and homey. Nice picnic table, fire pit, and grill in the backyard to hangout in the evening. Our 2 year old loved getting to watch/pet the horses over the fence and see the cows at the surrounding properties. Had a fun time visiting nearby Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Western Son Distillery, Sharkosa Zoo, and Union Bear Brewing when we weren't at the property.

Home away from Home!
We have fallen in Love with the Bunkhouse!!!! It has become our favorite and only place to stay when we visit our son and daughter in law! The Bunkhouse is beautiful and we love the scenery, horses and longhorns! Julie is the best and makes you feel welcome and at home! Our dog Luna loves it too!
