PARK AVENUE LODGE

SLEEPS: 17-21 MAX

BEDROOMS: 6

BATHROOMS: 3

*LOCATED ON SNOWMOBILE/ATV TRAILS

*15 MINUTES TO PICTURED ROCKS

While Park Ave. in the game of Monopoly screams hoity-toity, we present to you the comfortable, laid-back version of Au Train's Park Avenue. This home is centrally located in a small community, just outside of Munising (Pictured Rocks) with a store & gas station all within an easy stroll from the house. The Au Train Beach dunes are just across M-28, also an easy walk or quick ride.

The ease of getting to the ATV and snowmobile trails with quick access to Trail 417 is ideal. This Au Train area averages 152 inches of snow per year! Bring your active friends and family, yet please be respectful of excessive noise since there are neighbors in close proximity. There is parking for up to 8 cars, with room for 4 trailers.

The Lodge provides a phenomenal space for ease of sleeping, cooking and entertainment. It is well-equipped with your basic meal prep needs. There are plenty of sleeping options within the 6 bedrooms.

On top of it all, the game room can easily keep you entertained with foosball, indoor basketball and even a poker table. Let the fun begin!

Wrap up your day with a relaxing campfire as you share your stories after a day of swimming, riding and/or sledding. Being bored isn't an option here at Park Avenue Lodge!

Let the fun times roll! Connecting with family and friends can feel effervescent. While you may not collect $200 each time you pass Go, the adventure and games here at Park Avenue Lodge surely will surpass your traditional Monopoly experience.

Girls Trip
This property is in a great location!! It's an easy walk to the beach, convenience store, and ice cream & pastie shop. The property is large enough to support common gathering and eating. There is also a bonus room upstairs if you feel the need to get away. Everyone had a space to call their own and felt comfortable. If you go in the summer, take fans. There are 2 window AC units but fans were nice for sleeping. I did alert the property manager of some missing and damaged screens. They assured me those would be addressed for future guests' comfort. If I return to the area, I would rent this property again. Responses to my communication attempts through the VRBO messaging system were limited, but when I called the property manager directly, she was always professional and helpful.

We loved the property due to the great rooms upstairs for the cousins! The family room downstairs allowed us all to hang out and play games together! We loved being so close to the beach so that if some kids wanted to go to the beach they could just walk! The sunrises and sunset were like no other and we loved being able to go to Marquette or Munising quickly.

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME SINCE MY MOM'S PASSING THAT HER 5 ADULT CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE ABLE TO GET TOGETHER TO HAVE A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE. THE HOUSE WAS VERY ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE OUR GROUP VERY COMFORTABLY. THE LINEN WAS CLEAN, THE HOME LOVELY AND THE KITCHEN WAS WELL STOCKED FOR COOKING. WE WERE NOT INTERRUPTED BY NEIGHBORS OR OWNERS. OVERALL IT WAS A PLEASANT PLACE AND WE ENJOYED OUR STAY. SOMETIMES ONE HEARS HORRIBLE STORIES ABOUT RENTAL PLACES, BUT THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

As we pulled up to the home after a long drive we could not believe it. All 12 of us were in awe. The pictures do not do this Lodge justice. We got out and headed in, and the only thing I could say was wow. It was so nice and warm, clean and felt like our own home. The kids ranging in age of 9 yrs old to 22 years old ran through claiming beds, rooms, and where they were chilling at in the AWESOME game room. The 4 adults gelt at peace knowing that there was space and fun for each person with this home. It was crazy what this little trip staying in this home did. Not one time did anyone bicker lol we laughed and hiked the Munising Ice Curtain and Eben Ice Cave. We ate From the local pizza shop (excellent by the way) and had board game night by the fire. We have Already spoke of making this our anual trip! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

Very nice location and spacious house, but needs better cleaning
Jason came over promptly for a small problem we were having and was very polite and kind. The game room upstairs was cool too! The house could have been better cleaned. Mold in the full bathrooms on the walls and very dirty shower curtains. The upstairs bathroom had a big mold stop and you are just looking at it the entire time you're showing and the shower is tinny too. At the time of this review there are no pictures of the inside of the showers on the vrbo site and that should have been an indicator that something was not right. The pots were dirty in kitchen under the cabinet. This is from my friends: Rips in leather couch was covered up. Refrigerator was dirty and had to be cleaned. Lights not working in kitchen. Light fixture in upstairs bathroom falling out of ceiling. Mold on shower curtains and in shower area. There was no instructions for cleaning up in the listing and we payed a lot in cleaning fees. So we took out the trash loaded up the dish washer and left promptly. If these things are addressed then this will be a top notch place enjoy while staying in the UP.

Everything was great, accommodated our large group. It was clean and very close to riding trails. The only complaint would just be that only 1 person could shower at a time because the water pressure was non existent if 2 were trying to shower. We would come back.

Great place for families - two dining room tables so "kids" could be at one and parents at other. There were books and games for wide range of children. Easy access to beaches, Pictured Rocks, and trails. Make sure you look at their book of pictures showing the property transformation they completed! Plenty of parking. Washer and dryer really handy.
