"We had a very small apartment. It could have been cleaner, the toilet was smelly and not clean, the shower was very hard to use and the bedding looked grubby. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were woken one night at 2pm by the sound of two men talking in the courtyard and the smell of their cigarettes filling our room."

"The room was great although there was no place in the shower to put soap and shampoo. Also, the shower sprayer would not stay in place. Breakfast on first morning was awful. The coffee was cold and the milk was warm. Streets outside were quite dirty. We were unaware that we needed reservations to eat so it was hard to find a place "

"We loved our stay at Villa Etna Mare. The setting is amazing with the most wonderful views of Mount Etna and the coast. The villa is very well equipped with a great outdoor cooking area. The drive up to the villa is quite a drive! but the instructions from Michael meant that you knew exactly where you were and therefore didn't miss any turnings! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Michael, the host,was very helpful with any questions we had too about the local area."
